WITH MY CORPORATE WORK

I had a corporate job working in the city of London, however there was no joy or purpose - It was stressful.

ALCOHOL ADDICTION

UNTIL THE AGE OF 28

I used to have a hedonistic lifestyle taking drugs and drinking alcohol to make my self feel better which from the outside seemed fun and glamorous, but inside I was hurting. I was burning the candle at both ends and I had to make a choice.

UNSTABLE INCOME

AND GOING INTO DEBT

At one point, I had very little control of my income which meant I had to take on other jobs to pay my way. I had little job security. Debt was a part of my experience which never felt good. I often got rejected for the very jobs I was casting for.

DIFFICULT

RELATION BREAKUP

I had a loving relationship for 7 years until one day it ended.

DEALING WITH MY FATHER

MAKING HIS TRANSITION

One day my dad asked me to come out to see him in Spain and look after my mum as he was taken into hospital with a lung infection. He came out for 6 months and later went back into hospital and eventually made his transition. I found out on my way visiting my parents for a mini break.

MY JOURNEY

I began to practice meditation

I began modelling in 2000 and I spent all my time in between modelling jobs learning about health and wellbeing, success and business. I wanted to get the ‘washboard abs’ and use this career to enjoy international travel and create my own business on the side. But, there was one major problem I was a hedonistic party goer and whilst I had worked hard in the gym to get the ‘washboard abs’ and may have looked healthy on the outside, I was far from it on the inside.
One day walking into a shop in Covent Garden in 2003 changed my life. I picked up a flyer (yes those paper ones) called the number and joined a TM course to learn how to meditate. Every day since, I have had the habit of meditating twice a day and also with different meditating techniques. Beginning a meditating practice made my soul thirsty for information on spirituality, healing, success and wellbeing so I read literally 1000’s of self- help books and went to many seminars and courses of the greatest teachers.

REBIRTH

Time to apply in the real world

After a relationship breakup and modelling easing off, I knew there was a different purpose for my life. It was time to move on and begin to help people with the knowledge, wisdom and experience I had acquired in having such vitality and wellbeing. Meditation wasn’t just a practice, it gave me true health, focus, confidence and incredible positive energy. It literally improved every area of my life physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. It is not just for monks living in some cave in the Himalayas - it is great for anyone living in the 21 st century to reconnect with a true sense of wellbeing.
Happiness, health and Joy comes from you taking care of your own emotional state. I have discovered that daily disciplines of self-care produce meaningful impacts in your life which create positive ripple effects into other peoples’ lives giving them permission to do the same.

Meditation is a daily discipline which reduces resistance and frees you from negativity. Whether you are in a troubling relationship. facing the loss of a loved one, battling addiction, financial hardship, have health concerns, struggling to find your purpose and place in the world, having confidence issues or low self esteem or overcoming your fears,  the tools I have learned in meditation and wellbeing truly do work when you apply them but don’t believe me until you have your own experience.
Meditation is a daily discipline which reduces resistance and frees you from negativity.
